February’s Harvest of the Month is Squash! Grown by Vicki Hertel of Sun Gold Farm near Forest Grove, Oregon.
Harvest of the Month is a partnership with Portland Public School’s Nutrition Services. Once a month, we feature a local fruit or vegetable at all our elementary schools by preparing it from scratch in our kitchen, plus creating simple educational tools for the classroom.
